Topic: IES VE – A Comprehensive Simulation and Documentation Tool
Presenter: Nathan Kegel of IES Ltd.
Description: The BSUG meeting in August will feature an introduction to the IES VE building performance software package by Nathan Kegel (IES Ltd.). The presentation will introduce attendees to the various simulation capabilities available in the latest version of the software’s release from May 30, 2012. It will provide architects, engineers, sustainability consultants, and academics with an overview of both early-stage and detailed analysis capabilities within the IES VE software. The presentation will also cover how the tool integrates analysis and documentation with a wide array of certification systems, such as LEED, BREEAM, Green Star, GreenMark, and many other international programs.
